the badlands
The Badlands National Park is the home of Mount Rushmore, and contains one of the worlds richest fossil beds in the world. Ancient mammals such as rhinos and saber-toothed cats once stalked their prey here. The full 244,000 acres are home to buttes, and many endangered animals.
